She was placed in compression bandages and garment for two days, after which time she took a shower and started daily massaging to facilitate her healing.She returned to San Francisco about three days after her surgery and came back for her follow-up appointment in ten days. She was originally very worried about scars, especially because she had heard that “Asians scar bad.” Fortunately, her scars healed well and faded within six months.
